Its been awhile

So... its been awhile but when there is nothing going on there really isn't much to blog about. This week picked up (finally!) I went home for memorial day weekend and it took about 4 hours to get home when its suppose to take like 2-2 1/2. My sister and her boyfriend Thom came home friday too. Sean and I got up to our usual ptown shenanigans. Went to coldstone and split a cookie mintster (my fav) and when driving around we saw a carnival and decided to check it out. I won't go into much detail there because there is really nothing to talk about. We walked around and got cotton candy and watched all the obnoxious/annoying 14 year olds. After all the excitement of the evening I went to bed. Saturday my sister, Thom and I had margaritas and daiquiris by the pool while John grilled. Laura Pumo picked me up later and we rented Choke. 

It followed the book but I don't know I wasn't very impressed with the movie itself. I mean it wasn't horrible but something was 

just kind of weird/off. I don't know !Got back the city late Sunday night. Monday was memorial day just kind of got back into things had dinner at this sushi place over on 

Court st with alyson and went to the chocolate room dessert. So good! Tuesday went to my internship same for wednesday but I had to go into Manhattan first to get 

some fabric for Christian. Thursday learned how to make expresso and such at the cafe (i'm just getting trained so they can have someone on call)

Friday internship and first day of work which went okay. Yesterday Dana, her cousin and our friend Bryan came to the city and we went to the zoo !!!

Dana and I went to the Chocolate Room and I had a chocolate creme brulee which was amazing.

Oh yeah my sunglasses broke yesterday! they were on my head and they just popped and broke.. really cool :(

           I bought a dress at this store called Lucia. I saw it and I couldn't help myself 

                          Work was busier than Friday night which was nice. 

For the most part feeling better !!! yay !!! I have spent the past 3 days looking endlessly for a job. No such luck yet and it is beyond frustrating.

I want this so bad ! It comes in wine and champagne also ! If I was going to be home I would get it in a heartbeat. 

I need to perform minor surgery on bunny. His back seam has come out. :( 

Alyson and I went job searching yesterday. Every place asked for a resume instead of       having applications, weird . These were waiting for me when I got home !!!

Ugh!!!! I'm sick and I don't like it one bit. I thought my throat was just sore because I may have slept with my mouth open (ew) but I am actually sick :(  Last night Alyson and I hung out with with our landlady's daughter. She showed us around the area better, it was nice to make a friend who is our age and strangely enough goes to school kind of near Caz. Oh yeah she has a bunny !!! I have feeling today is going to be a lazy day. 

             Oh! I wish I lived near something like this.

Today so far I went with Alyson to Zac Posen and shopped at the sample sale - I bought a really great emerald green 1920's esque dress. I really need to find a job though it isn't funny anymore. I miss my old job a lot :( :( :( I was so productive last summer and now I'm just so blah and I don't like it. Perhaps Starbucks??? I can make coffee and assorted beverages. It doesn't seem like that bad of a place to work right? 

I got these yesterday and they'll go with my new dress perfectly !

Yesterday I started my internship with Christian Joy.  I really like that fact that it is costumes and such. Another plus she has a cat.  I found my way to work which is very surprising seeing as though I have no real sense of direction. My calves are killing me. Its really sad they haven't hurt this much since England. :( 

Today: 

I woke up at 8:10 but couldn't bring myself to actually get up so I stayed in bed until 10 then

 got ready and left for work. Went to my internship Alyson got home from work at 8:45 ish we chit chatted and went to Starbucks. I need to shower. I smell. 

  Oh i wore this today.

Hi again !!!

Patch says Hey !!!

It has been awhile !!! but the last few weeks of school were so busy. I moved in the apartment for good last night and got the rest of my stuff settled. I start my internship tomorrow. I'm so nervous!!! 

My room !!! When I got in last night I unpacked a little then Alyson and I decided to go for a walk because it was nice out. Just like at home I threw all my clothes into my chair so I could sleep in my bed and had to sort it all out this morning. We made our first breakfast!!! Pancakes !!! Plans for today: find a job, go to the Met and time out how long it takes to get to my internship.

Sara and Thom now have a chinchilla named Hazel. My sister got it from the one of her old sorority sisters who couldn't keep it because she was moving to Hawaii.  I talked to Thom on Skype and he showed me their newest addition. It is without a doubt the cutest thing I have ever seen !!!!!!

This is probably my favorite picture from this past year. We are in Bratislava which is in Slovakia.  My friends came for 10 days to visit me in England and we traveled to Slovakia, Austria, and Hungry.
